In his yearly letter to shareholders, Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and chief executive officer, declared the provider’s Prime service currently reaches 100 million members global. The company has also shipped over five billion items and convinced clients to buy “tens of millions” of Echo apparatus, he wrote.
This success, in part, would explain why Bezos’ internet value was just shy of $130 billion Thursday.
