James Comey will Take a Look at Amazon Monday.
The former FBI Director supplied by President Donald Trump will talk at an employee occasion in Amazon’s Seattle headquarters Monday. The company hosts authors, artists, celebrities, and public officials to get routine fireside talks exclusively for employees. Amazon affirmed the Comey occasion to GeekWire after it had been first reported by The Intercept. Comey can also be promoting his novel, “A Greater Loyalty,” in a sold-out public occasion in Seattle this Sunday. The book details Comey’s leadership of the FBI and infamous final days as manager when he clashed with Trump over the Russia analysis. The occasion Monday brings together two thorns in Trump’s side. The president also has spent criticizing Amazon for lots of perceived ills, such as underpaying taxes and harnessing the U.S. Postal Service. Trump has also been shooting shots in Comey, calling him a liar and a showboat. At Friday afternoon, Trump had not seen in on Comey’s planned appearance at Amazon.
