Amazon will not inventory new products from Google’s Nest device, including a brand new Nest thermostat and a home security system. Nest, in reaction, will quit selling through Amazon entirely.
Based on Business Insider, which broke the information, Nest employees who got the information on a conference telephone from Amazon were “beneath the impression that the decision had come from Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos,” though that impression hasn’t been confirmed.
