IBM is teaming up with Cloudflare, also a billion-dollar tech startup headquartered in San Francisco, to deliver a fresh set of cybersecurity offers to its cloud computing clients.
Big Blue’s no doubt hope the partnership will create IBM Cloud a compelling choice to Amazon Web Services, the present-day cloud computing king. The deal will enable IBM to outsource various IT security functions while enabling Cloudflare access to IBM’s network of consumers through a reseller agreement.
