Media company stocks dropped off Friday following a report by The Info which Amazon Web Services is considering selling its own network switching devices.
Cisco dropped 5%, representing a loss in stock value of about $11 billion. Arista Networks dropped nearly 6 per cent, also F5 Networks dropped approximately 2 percent. Broadcom, which makes chips used in altering devices, was down nearly 3% on the day following the record, stretching a demanding week for its inventory .
