The Nasdaq Composite hit a record high on Tuesday as strong gains in Amazon and a rebound in Netflix shares led to a big comeback in technology stocks.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq rose 0.6 percent, after dropping up to 0.7 per cent, as Amazon reached an all-time large. Meanwhile, the Netflix traded only 4.3 percent lower after falling up to 14.1 percent earlier in the session.
