Amazon on Thursday reported that its cloud business grew almost 48.9 percent in the next quarter, coming from over analysts’ expectations.
The expansion prevents Amazon’s cloud solidly ahead of its closest competitors, Microsoft and Google, as well as smaller players such as Oracle and global challengers such as Alibaba.
