Amazon.com Inc. said it’s hiring 2,000 individuals in Boston, enlarging an present technology hub which focuses on everything from machine learning and speech engineering into cloud computing and robotics.
The Seattle-based e-commerce giant plans to open an 430,000-square-foot (39,900-square-meter) office at the city’s Seaport waterfront growth by 2021, bringing the provider’s total headcount in the Boston area to over 3,500 full-time employees, Amazon said in a statement Tuesday.
