For the very first time ever, Amazon has cracked the top 10 of the Fortune 500 list, together with such behemoths like Apple, Berkshire Hathaway, Exxon Mobil and, of course, Walmart.
With earnings of $177.87 billion, Amazon put eighth with this year’s list of America’s biggest businesses, which was released on Monday. That is up four spots in its rank last year as No. 12.
