Amazon Provides Whole Foods drive-up grocery pickup for the first time, starting at two Shops

Amazon plans to give drive-up grocery pickup at Whole Foods Market shops for the first time — the most recent integration between the firms because the technology giant purchased the supermarket chain for $13.7 billion last year. Grocery pickup will debut at Whole Foods stores in Sacramento, Calif., and Virginia Beach, Va., on Wednesday. More cities will follow after this year, the company says. The shops in Sacramento and Virginia Beach are among them, and the pickup service is an expansion of the same Prime Presently system. Clients utilizing the Prime Now app to purchase from shops where both delivery and pickup are available are going to have the ability to pick either. Amazon Prime members may use the service free of additional charge if they order at $35 value of things, with things ready for pickup within an hour or so after ordering. Alternatively, they could pay $4.99 for pickup in thirty minutes. Prime Now shoppers may bring requests to automobiles parked in designated spaces in the Whole Foods lots. The Whole Foods Market store in Sacramento, Calif., is one of two initial locations for Amazon grocery store pickup.
