Amazon’s ambitious plan to reduce the costs of healthcare is becoming an early evaluation in a familiar location: its Seattle headquarters.
The company is in internal discussions to start primary care practices in its primary headquarters, according to two people familiar with the issue. The first plan is to employ a small number of doctors to begin a pilot practice later this year to get a select set of employees and then expand it to more workers in ancient 2019, stated the people, who asked not to be named because the programs are confidential.
