Amazon Studios has just taken another significant step in its attempts to control the dream TV space.

The company announced Wednesday, it’therefore signed a first-look deal using Game of Thrones co-executive manufacturer Vince Gerardis. The arrangement gives Amazon accessibility to Gerardis’ extensive intellectual library of work from several other top sci-fi and fantasy authors, including Robert Silverberg, David Brin, Greg Bear, and Jack Vance.
