Two Cities Get Immediate Looks From Amazon’s HQ2 Hunt Committee

The suspense grows daily in the wait for Amazon to declare the area for the next headquarters. The retail giant is supposed to announce at the end of 2018 where it’ll spend more than $5 billion and create 50,000 well-paying jobs over the next decade. Presently, two cities have gotten second looks from the HQ2 research committee, local press is reporting.

Amazon (amzn) agents have seen all of 20 cities on the short listing: Toronto, Columbus, Indianapolis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Denver, Nashville, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, Boston, Nyc, Newark, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Montgomery County in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Raleigh, Northern Virginia, Atlanta and Miami.
